Senior stage for the Folkecykelløpet

Join us for a cycling party and Folkecykelløb on the occasion of the new big World Tour race Copenhagen Sprint.
Saturday 21 JUNE 2025 with START: 12.00
DGI Greater Copenhagen and the City of Copenhagen invite everyone to take part in the new big cycling event in our fantastic cycling city. Join a large field of seniors on a joint bike ride on the closed World Tour route in the streets of Copenhagen. Together we will mark the joy of cycling and all the active senior communities!
PROGRAM
11.45 a.m.: We meet for the gathering of the large senior bike lane at the start of Sølvgade in front of SMK.
12.00 p.m.: The stage kicks off with a welcome speech.
We cycle together the 11 km round trip on the blocked route in the streets of Copenhagen, which later in the afternoon will be taken over by the world’s best cyclists.
After the bike ride, there is the opportunity to gather with food, drink and socializing for the bike festival in Østre Anlæg.
The bike ride takes place at a calm and pleasant pace.
Registration: Participation is free, but remember to register, because we are handing out small goodies to the first 250 participants on the Senior Stage.
