Festival in Østre Anlæg
Experience the love of cycling in all its forms when the whole family is invited to join the Copenhagen Sprint Festival in Østre Anlæg on June 21-22. A weekend where culture, sport and community joinforces in the heart of Copenhagen. Two days packed with fun activities, shows, music and the love of cycling.
The festival program offers activities for all ages – from children’s races and e-cycling to shows and concerts. The whole family can participate in creative workshops, food experiences and enjoy concerts. The highlights from the cycling race will be shown on the big screen both days, while the park is buzzing with play and life.

The Stage
This is where festival guests gather for live music, children’s entertainment and shows. Come and meet Børste from Minisjang, experience August, Thomas, Vigga and Lucas in MGP Allstars, go to a heavy concert with Copenhell for Kids, or enjoy afternoon jazz music, or the evening concerts with SVEA S and The Savage Rose.
Big screen & street food
Take a break and in the green surroundings in Østre Anlæg and see the highlights of the cycling race on the big screen as the elite cyclists race from Roskilde to Copenhagen. Explore the food stalls or bring your own lunch.
Cycling activities for all ages
Whether you are three or sixty, there will be plenty of fun activities and experiences at the festival site. Test your balance and speed on bike lanes for the very young, take part in children’s bike races or race against yourself or others in a virtual bike race – how many watts can you pedal? Unleash your creative side in the Statens Museum for Kunst’s creative workshop, where old bike parts get new life as works of art, or test your food courage at Hello Kitchen, where you can also cycle your way to a smoothie with pure pedal power.
Finish area – feel the rush of the elite cyclists
Follow as the elite cyclists rush to the finish line in Sølvgade. Here, the pulse is high, cheers and the opportunity to experience the sport up close – right where it all culminates.
Here you can also experience a show with the Danish iconic “Cykelmyggen Egon” and “Dansemyggen”, and help send “Cykelmyggen Egon” off into the public bike ride.

Ongoing activities both Saturday and Sunday – 10:00–17:00
- SMK creativity workshops
- Create bicycle sculptures and collages with SMK – access via Østre Anlæg. Free access to this part of SMK.
- Hello Kitchen & smoothie bikes
- Test your food courage, blend smoothies with leg power and pump up the vegetable bazooka to the max and shoot your own vegetable sticks.
- E-cycling
- Try your hand at a virtual bike race and test how many watts you can pedal, either against yourself or others.
- Food stalls
- From 10:30 – find green temptations and settle down at the festival site or in front of the big screen.
- Big screen
- Follow the riders in the World Tour race live from Roskilde to the circuit in Copenhagen.
- Game zone
- Table tennis, table football and petanque – in the middle of the park.
