The route

Copenhagen Sprint takes place on June 21 and 22, 2025, starting at the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde and finishing at the National Gallery of Denmark in Copenhagen.
The route starts in Roskilde and runs north to Frederikssund, through Hillerød by Frederiksborg Castle and past Fredensborg to Louisiana in Humlebæk and then down past Furesøen through Ballerup, entering Copenhagen from west.

The route continues through Vanløse, Valby, Frederiksberg and Vesterbro ending with a 10km circuit that starts at City Hall Square. Not all of H.C. Andersens Boulevard will be shut down, but there will be a Champs-Élysées-style turn right by the City Hall.

The circuit continues over Dronning Louises Bro, up to Nørrebro’s Roundabout out on Jagtvej, and then turns down Tagensvej and Nørre Allé to run over Fredens Bro and past SMK – The National Gallery of Denmark. It continues around Nyboder and past the Botanical Garden and continues back to H.C. Andersens Boulevard. The finish line will be located at Østre Anlæg and SMK – The National Gallery of Denmark.
