The program for festival, cheering zones, etc. has been published

The world’s best sprinters, Anne Linnet and breakdance battles: Huge cycling party returns to Copenhagen.
When Copenhagen Sprint is held, in addition to world-class bike races, you can look forward to a festive weekend with lots of music, entertainment, new underground art and activities for both children and adults.

Anne Linnet, the teddy bear Borst and the people’s bike race for all. Watch breakdance battles, learn to skateboard or listen to impressive freestyle rap. Yes, the list is long of the experiences that Copenhageners and guests of all ages can look forward to when the starting signal for the Copenhagen Sprint sounds.

Both Saturday and Sunday before the riders arrive, the world’s first cargo bike caravan drives around and hands out hats, bells, gummies and much more.

Along the way, there are four special cheering zones on the 10 km long stretch around Copenhagen, where there will be live music, big screen, workshops, dance battles – and much more. Both days the race ends with a bang of a cycling party in Østre Anlæg at the National Gallery of Denmark.

Lord Mayor Sisse Marie Welling (SF) says:

“It will be so good when we will soon be visited by world-class cyclists, and Copenhagen will be filled with music, parties and entertainment for both children and adults. The atmosphere will be top notch, and I hope that many people will take family and friends under their arms so that together we can create a public festival again this year.”

Underground art in the finish area
As something new this year, the trip to the finish area at Østre Anlæg will be an experience in itself. In the tunnel close to the finish line, a special painting project dedicated to Copenhagen Sprint is being created. Here, the raw concrete walls are transformed into a colourful, urban gallery in the green, blue and white colours of the bike race. The work will be preserved until after the Copenhagen Sprint.

Bicycle race for everyone
On Saturday, you get a unique opportunity to try the very same 10 km long route in Copenhagen, which the world stars shortly after also whizz around on.
Everyone is welcome when it kicks off at 1 pm at the finish line at the National Gallery of Denmark.
At Sølvtorvet at 13.30 the diversity start takes place, and at the same place at 14 the senior stage starts.
Along the way, there are eight hop on-off points, fun features on the route and celebration of children. Hop on-off for the people’s bike race closes at 3 pm.
