Become a part of Team Volunteer
Play an important role as a volunteer at Copenhagen Sprint. The first World Tour cycling race in Denmark for both men and women.
We are looking for route volunteers to be stationed along the course, which stretches from Roskilde, north to Hillerød, and finishes in Copenhagen.
In addition, we need dedicated sector leaders who will be responsible for coordinating and supporting their own group of route volunteers within a specific section of the course.
As a sector leader, you’ll play a key role in the event and be responsible for ensuring that the route volunteers in your sector are well briefed and feel confident in their tasks. The role of a route volunteer is to guide participants, raise a few barriers, keep an eye on the road closure, and inform road users about the expected duration. You will not be directing traffic.
In the places where traffic is to be regulated, there will be traffic trained people, just as Race Marshalls will continuously pass by the individual posts. In other words, you should NOT regulate traffic.
