Lecture: The Danish World Cyclists

Vélo is about Danes who have embarked on crazy adventures on bicycles through the ages, the so-called world cyclists. The book describes their travels through the world and the insane hardships they have gone through on their travels. The stories are fantastic, almost unimaginable and beautifully illustrated with photos and contemporary illustrations.

We want to pay tribute to cycling by letting the authors tell the stories of the brave men and women who have crossed countries and borders on 2 wheels. Hear the stories of those who have braved wind and weather, mountains and wars. It will be an evening of fun and thought-provoking stories about crossing the world and meeting the world as a humble traveler on a bike. An evening that gives food for thought the next time you curse over headwinds on the way to work.
