About Copenhagen Sprint

At Copenhagen Sprint, we are passionate about celebrating cycling — both as an elite sport and as a popular movement. Our mission is to create a world-class professional World Tour cycling race, while building bridges between the sport and the local community.

Copenhagen Sprint combines top-class cycling with a folk festival: In addition to elite races for both women and men, we offer free people’s bike races, cycling festivals, events for the whole family and a number of activities along the route — so everyone can participate, regardless of age and level.

The route takes the riders through scenic Zealand — starting at the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde and finishing at the National Gallery of Denmark in Copenhagen — where they fight for victory. Along the way, they pass fjords, castles, lakes, small towns and Copenhagen’s vibrant city life, and we invite the audience to join us in celebrating the spirit of cycling.

We believe that cycling is about more than speed and performance — it’s about community, sustainability and the joy of being part of something big. That’s why we work closely with partners, communities, and volunteers to make Copenhagen Sprint an inclusive and memorable experience for everyone — fans, riders, and families.

Welcome to Copenhagen Sprint — where cycling meets culture, community and celebration.
