The route for Copenhagen Sprint 2026 has been announced

Now we can finally unveil the route for Copenhagen Sprint 2026.

This summer, you can once again experience the world’s best cyclists as they ride through some of Zealand’s most beautiful areas – from historic Roskilde to an intense finale in the middle of Copenhagen.

From Roskilde to Copenhagen
The route starts in Roskilde and takes the riders through the Zealand landscape with fjord, open spaces and towns along the way. The peloton moves towards North Zealand with passages through, among other places, Frederikssund and Hillerød, before heading back towards Copenhagen.

Along the way, the riders pass Frederikssund and Hillerød, among other places, before heading to Copenhagen, where the race is decided.

Intense finale in the heart of Copenhagen
When the peloton hits Copenhagen, the well-known circuit awaits in the city’s streets, where the race will be decided in front of thousands of spectators.

The women do 3 laps, while the men do 5 laps on the circuit – which ensures more chances to experience the riders up close.

In 2026, the riders will enter the city via Vigerslev Allé and hit the circuit at Rådhuspladsen, where the atmosphere is expected to reach new heights.

A route for the world’s best sprinters
Copenhagen Sprint has been created as a World Tour race for the sprinter types, where the flat Danish geography and technical final in Copenhagen form the framework for a spectacular finish.

With both long, open stretches and an intense city route, the stage is set for high speed, tactics and probably a dramatic sprint for victory.
